Two weeks ago, two teens were shot in a drive-by shooting. According to police reports, the men were found in the street on the 1000 block of Northwood Drive.
Witnesses say a red Mercury Grand Marquis traveling westbound on Northwood when one of the vehicle’s occupants rolled down the windows, yelled at the two men and fire shots out of the window. Police do not have a complete description of the suspect. In addition, police are unsure if a second vehicle, described as a black pickup truck, could be involved.
Both victims, 16 and 18-years old, were taken to Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana and were released after treatment for their injuries.
